Vikram Pakrashi is the Principal Investigator of SEAI funded WindPearl and Director of Dynamical Systems and Risk Laboratory, School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering, University Colege Dublin. He is a part of SFI Centre MaREI (Marine and Renewable Energy Ireland) and The Energy Institute, UCD - both of which support WindPearl. Vikram's research interest lies in interdisciplinary approaches towards understanding, monitoring, predicting, managing and controlling our built infrastructure using data, sensors, analytics and physics-driven models. In WindPearl, he is active is developing better prediction, downtime detection and classification of wind power in Irish farms.
Bidisha Ghosh is the Co-PI of this project. She is an Assistant Professor in the School of Engineering and the director of the QUANT team in TCD. She is an expert of natural system behaviour prediction using statistical methods, time-series modelling, artificial intelligence algorithms, sustainable transportation and health impact assessment of active travel. She is the Chair of the Irish Transport Research Network (ITRN). She has published over 100 peer-reviewed journal and conference articles. She is the PI of several national and European research projects.

Basuraj is the Project Manager for WindPearl. His responsibilities include setting up liaisons with various stakeholders, reporting and reviewing structures, involving engagement of academic and industrial partners for smooth dissemination of the data and results. On the academic front, he is involved in developing real time algorithms for accurate downtime prediction of Irish wind farms. Basuraj's interests lie in the field of real time structural health monitoring of built infrastructure.
